To the women at the University of Arkansas going through Recruitment, do not waste a second.  You will blink and suddenly you are in your last year of recruitment.  My goal is that every person who walks through the Alpha Delta Pi doors feels overwhelming love and support.  A sorority is your home away from home.  A place where you do not need to hide who you are but are embraced for everything you bring.  A place where you become the best version of yourself while helping others achieve their best selves.

I would not be the woman I am today if it were not for the Delta Delta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi.  I have found amazing women who I know will be by my side for the rest of my life.  Serving on the executive board has given me the chance to meet all of the women in the chapter.  I love seeing the diversity of personality and character of all 500 members.  Seeing how everyone grows is truly an amazing gift.  

I know that this process is overwhelming and stressful.  Even through all of that, I want you to keep an open mind.  I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.  If you had told me three years ago while I was going through Recruitment that I would be leading women through this process in the future I would have looked at you like you were crazy, but I would not want to have it any other way.

Look for a place where you find comfort.  I know it can be nerve-racking meeting so many new people in a short span of time, but try to focus on the place you enjoy being, a place where you want to go back.  We here at Alpha Delta Pi cannot wait to see your smiley faces walking through our doors in a few short weeks.  I hope you all have a wonderful experience going through Recruitment and enjoy your time at Alpha Delta Pi even if we are not your final destination.
