Alpha Delta Pi was founded as the first secret society for women in 1851 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. The Delta Delta chapter at the University of Arkansas was founded in 1957 and was the 100th chapter to be established internationally. Our sorority is committed to high academic standards, social responsibilities, sisterhood values, and ethics. 

To date, Alpha Delta Pi has initiated more than 235,000 women, many of whom are actively involved in one of over 145 Collegiate chapters and 150 alumni associations throughout the United States and Canada. 

Our open moto is “We Live For Each Other.” Our colors are azure blue and white, our mascot is a lion, and our flower is the Woodland Violet.
